The phone comes with a few outstanding features that aren’t common to Tecno phones or other brands until its release. Even with these features, it still runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Let’s hope an upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo is provided.
Tecno revealed that over 1000 engineers worked on the phone within 15 months with over 50 partners around the world. Yes, this is how far they went to design the Camon CM.
It’s a very light and sleek phone with a thickness of just 5.6mm. The power and volume buttons are situated at the right side of the phone. The left side is where the SIM and microSD cards are inserted. The top carries the 3.5mm headphone jack while the bottom has the USB 2.0 port and speaker grills fixed to it.
13MP Cameras & Quad-Flash
Tecno knows that the first thing most smartphone users look out for, these days, is the camera and the quality of image a phone produces both in a bright and low-lit environment.
This is why the 13MP back camera was designed with 4-LED flash that’s 3 times better than a normal flashlight. And this is a good thing if you have a dark skin because taking pictures at night in dark environments won’t be a problem anymore.
The front camera is designed for better selfies, groupies, and wefies. It’s also 13MP and has an LED flash sitting next to it.
Storage Space
In my own opinion, the storage space doesn’t really compliment its outstanding features. The ROM is pegged at 16GB while the RAM is 2GB. This should have been expanded to 32GB and 3GB ROM and RAM respectively. It would have made the device even more appealing.
This isn’t a problem, though, if large space isn’t a major feature you expect to see on your next smartphone.
